Rob Rosenberry PT, DPT, OCS, JSCC completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy at Loma Linda University and then earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Regis University in Denver Colorado. He became a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) through the The American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) in 2010. Additionally, he is an American Physical Therapy Association Credentialed Clinical Instructor (CCI). Rob began learning and practicing Strain Counterstrain 1984. He became Jones Strain Counterstrain Certified (JSCC) in 2005. Rob took his first Fascial Counterstrain course in 2008 and has since completed all of the Fascial Counterstrain courses with the Jones Institute up to and including Counterstrain for the Musculoskeletal System Part 1. To date, he has completed the Counterstrain Academy (CSA) coursework for Modules 1-4 (CSA Module 1 Intro: Counterstrain and the Cranial Scan; CSA Module 2: Counterstrain for the Visceral System; CSA Module 3: Counterstrain for the Lymphatic/Venous System; CSA Module 4: Counterstrain for the Arterial System).
He was recently selected by the Counterstrain Academy to begin the Counterstrain Instructor Training Program. He continues to pursue completion of all the CSA course work towards mastery.
Local native Evan Howe is a Physical Therapist who has returned to the Santa Ynez Valley after much athletic and academic success. Evan graduated from Santa Ynez Valley High School in 2001 and took a Football and Art Scholarship to Whittier College. At Whittier, Evan was named the head student athletic trainer and was responsible for the men and women’s lacrosse and baseball. After receiving his BS major in Kinesiology and minor in Art at Whittier in 2005, Evan took a job at ProSport in Newport as the Physical Therapy Aid Supervisor.
At ProSport, Evan had the privilege of working with a wide variety of professional athletes such as: Troy Palamalu, Terell Owens, Tito Ortiz, and Matt Leinart. He then set his sights on a more international horizon and decided to follow in his father and mother’s footsteps and attend The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland for a degree in Physical Therapy. Evan received his degree as a Physical Therapist on November 17th 2011 where he was awarded a clinical distinction for his excellence in his clinical and hospital work and graduated with honors for his academic achievement.
Evan returned to his hometown shortly after graduating to join his mentor Rob Rosenberry. Evan lives with his lovely wife Kebi and their dog Baxter. He has been very involved in his career as a Physical Therapist through treating patients, managing professionals, volunteering, educating, and mentoring. He believes in the core principles of physical therapy-maximize function and restore quality of life, and is eager to help his hometown get better.
